Wind Turbine Projects

The team have been involved with a broad range of wind turbine projects, from single turbine schemes to large projects involving multiple land owners and a broad spectrum of ecological issues.

Projects to date include:

• Large multi turbine schemes in Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex
• Single turbine schemes in Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Nottinghamshire.

The survey work on these site has included bat activity surveys including passive monitoring with Anabat units and transect surveys using ultrasonic bat detectors and recording devices, bird surveys (vantage point surveys, breeding bird surveys, wintering bird surveys and Schedule 1 bird surveys), surveys of ditches and water bodies for the presence of water voles and great crested newts, and Phase 1 and 2 walkover surveys and habitat surveys.

The team are accustomed to working with discretion on sensitive sites.
